Candle Wax Coloring & Dyes

We offer all of the basic, primary colors in a very concentrated liquid dye. Just a few drops per pound of wax will give you brilliant, true colors.

In addition to the basic colors above we now offer Black and Gold candle dye! We added black and gold dye due to the huge amount of requests we had for the New Orleans Saints colors. The black gets black with 20 drops of dye per LB of wax and the gold is the Saint's gold color. Also great for Halloween and specialty colors!

With these basic colors you can create virtually any color. These are the exact dyes that we use to create our many different shades. For example, for a brilliant pink, we use just two drops of red per pound of wax instead of 7 drops for a bright red. For a light purple lilac color we use 1 drop of purple per pound instead of 6 drops for a deep purple. We will be glad to help you create the perfect color for your candles.

We provide this color guide as a beginning point for our customers who want to know the color recommendations for the various candle fragrances we offer. It is not meant to be an exact science but rather as a starting point for you to use. Feel free to adjust any of the colors to your personal preference. Each number shown in the columns represent the number of drops of "The Cajun Candle Factory's" concentrated candle dyes that we recommend as a starting point. Please keep in mind that these amounts are for coloring 8 LBS of wax at a time. If you color more or less than 8 LBS at a time you will need to adjust the amount of dye used accordingly. All of our dyes come with a convenient drip dropper so that you will get consistent results in coloring from batch to batch.
